Cutting hair always came easy for Nicolas. He was so good that he was able to start a small barber shop in his hometown village in Kenya. However, when he moved to the capital city of Nairobi, starting fresh was a daunting task and his dream of re-starting his barbershop was slowing fading.

Through the Sowers Fund program, Nicolas was able to get the funding he required to set up shop, buy supplies and build up his clientele. With a wife and two children to support, he is grateful for the opportunity to do what he loves best and earn a daily income.
